Physical activity could play a big role in protecting you from pancreatic cancer. A large study reviewed 25 other studies to see how movement affects risk. The result: people who moved more had a lower chance of getting pancreatic cancer.
Regular activity, like walking or cleaning the house, counts. The more you move, the lower your risk. Even light movement is better than sitting all day. You don’t need to join a gym—just stay active in ways you enjoy.
The researchers also looked at people who already had pancreatic cancer. For them, activity didn’t make a big difference in how long they lived. But being active before getting sick did seem to help.
Staying active helps with heart health, weight, mood—and now maybe even your cancer risk. Make a little space in your day to move. Your body will thank you.
